Christina Bock has over 8 years of experience from the humanitarian and development field, she has specialized in multidisciplinary approaches to ensure cross-sectoral linkages in policy and program development. In 2019 she led a participatory situation analysis and humanitarian needs assessment to inform the Red Cross on strategic priorities for community resilience, incorporating protection standards to policy and programming. Prior to that she was deployed to the United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Lebanon through the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as social inclusion advisor, focusing on social policy and social protection in humanitarian action, including gender, age, poverty and migration dynamics. Previously having worked as an advisor for the Norwegian Red Cross’ policy and international law unit, she was responsible for grant management, monitoring and evaluation, developing and conducting training programs to ensure the protection of civilians in emergencies. Other relevant experience includes roving Safety and Security advisor for Norwegian Church Aid and Education in Emergencies with Save the Children.
